Here in North Maine, gas prices are at around $2.25/gal, which has steadily come down since crude oil started tanking about a month ago.
On road diesel hovers somewhere around $3.10/gal, dropping a mere $.20/gal, while gas has dropped over a dollar/gal.
Heating oil has only dropped the corresponding $.20/gal along with on road diesel, averaging $2.85/gal.

Please explain to me why this is not taking advantage of a captive market, i.e. price gouging.
