We have all heard of the dire straights in Venezuela. Maduro is reportedly blocking humanitarian aid shipments in what is an obviously desperate effort to maintain control at any cost. This is not anything new. Trucks loaded with food have been commonly hijacked, and animals at the zoos have been "harvested" by people who are simply starving. The novelty of the likes of the bartender who would be the left's new Buddha, seems to be our current political fad, but wears pretty thin in a hurry when the kids are starving. Socialism remains a failed theory, generally most commonly espoused by those who primary interest is self-interest. The desperation & utter madness of Maduro is a showcase of something we should examine prior to becoming enthralled with the current political pop-tart du jour. As to Maduro, I suspect it is simply a matter of a short time before someone, likely a member of his bought & paid for military, puts him out of humanity's misery. Somebody may be heartbroken-ain't gonna be me.............
